At The Sign Room, we take pride in producing high-quality custom printed products. Because every order is made to order and personalized specifically for you, we have a specialized return and refund policy that reflects the nature of custom printing.

Custom and Personalized Items
All products sold by The Sign Room are custom-made to your specifications. Because of this, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on custom orders unless the item arrives damaged, defective, or was produced incorrectly due to an error on our part.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
We stand behind the quality of every order we produce. If your item arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at orders@thesignroom.us. Please include the following in your message:
- Your order number
- A clear photo of the item showing the issue
- A brief description of the problem
Once we review your claim, we will either reprint and reship your order at no charge or issue a full refund — whichever you prefer.
Proof Approval
For orders that include a design proof, the customer is responsible for reviewing and approving the proof before production begins. Once a proof has been approved, we are not responsible for errors in the approved design, including spelling, layout, or color choices. Please review your proof carefully before approving.
Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only if production has not yet begun. Once your order has entered production, it cannot be cancelled. To request a cancellation, contact us immediately at orders@thesignroom.us. We begin production quickly — often the same day — so please reach out as soon as possible.
Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or refund:
- Custom printed products approved by the customer (no defect or error on our part)
- Sale items and gift cards
- Items damaged due to improper use or storage after delivery
